Admins, Managers and Members: who can do what in Tarazu

If you run more than one outlet, you do not want to share one login. Tarazu lets you invite your team with three roles, so each person sees only what they need. This guide explains each role, what it can open, how many people you can add and how to take access away.

The three roles in one line each

  • Admin: runs the account. Sees every location, settings and billing, and can invite and manage anyone. The account owner is always an Admin.
  • Manager: runs one or more locations. Replies, requests reviews, sees analytics and manages the Members of their own locations. No billing or settings.
  • Member: does a specific job at their locations, such as replying or sending review requests. You choose what they can do with simple tick-boxes.

Who can do what

This is the full list. “Their locations” means only the locations you gave that person.

Locations: who sees which

Admins see every location. Managers and Members see only the locations you tick when you invite them, and the dashboard, reviews, analytics and QR cards all follow that list. Nobody can give a location they do not have themselves, so a Manager can only share their own locations with a Member.

Member tick-boxes

A Member can always see reviews at their locations. Everything else is a tick-box you choose when you invite them, and you can change it any time:

  • Reply to reviews: approve, edit or ignore drafted replies. This is on by default.
  • Get reviews: send review requests and use the QR cards. On by default.
  • See analytics: ratings, response rate and trends for their locations.
  • See private feedback: read private feedback from their locations, if the feature is on for your account.

How many people you can add

A seat is held by anyone who is invited, active or suspended, and freed when you remove them. The Team page shows how many seats you have used and how many are left, and a role that is full cannot be chosen on the invite form. If you need more Managers or Members, add locations by upgrading your plan.

How an invite works

  1. An Admin (or a Manager, for Members) opens Team → Invite, enters a name and email, picks the role and locations, and sends it. You can also upload a CSV to invite many people at once.
  2. The person gets an email with a link that works for 7 days. After that, send a new one from the Team page.
  3. They open the link and enter their own WhatsApp number. Tarazu sends a 6-digit code there to confirm it is really them. Each WhatsApp number can belong to only one team member.
  4. Once verified, they are in. Next time they sign in with an emailed code or with Google.

You never type their phone number, and you never share a password.

Taking access away

  • Suspend: signs the person out and blocks sign-in straight away. Their details and seat stay, so you can restore them later with one click. Good for leave or a break.
  • Remove: ends access for good and frees the seat. Good when someone leaves.

Admins can suspend or remove anyone. Managers can suspend or remove Members inside their own locations. Every invite, change and removal is written to an activity log on the Team page, so you can see who did what.

One thing to know: reply approvals on WhatsApp still go to the account owner’s numbers. Your team works from the dashboard.

Which role for whom

  • Co-owner or partner: Admin.
  • Branch or outlet head: Manager for that branch.
  • Front-desk or service staff who reply to customers: Member with “Reply to reviews” ticked.
  • Staff who ask customers for reviews at the counter: Member with “Get reviews” ticked.
  • Marketing agency or analyst: Member with only “See analytics” ticked.

Team access is switched on per account. To get it on yours, message us at support@tarazu.co.

Frequently asked questions

How many Admins, Managers and Members can I have?

Up to 5 Admins on any plan (you count as one). Managers and Members each match the number of locations on your plan: 1 on Basic, 5 on Growth, 10 on Pro and 30 on Business.

Can a Manager see my billing or settings?

No. Billing, Settings and connecting Google accounts are for Admins only. Managers and Members do not see those pages.

What is the difference between suspending and removing someone?

Suspending signs the person out and blocks sign-in, but keeps their seat and details so you can restore them. Removing ends their access for good and frees the seat.

How long does an invite last?

Seven days. After that the link stops working, and you can send a fresh one from the Team page.

Do my team members get WhatsApp approval messages?

Not yet. Draft approvals on WhatsApp still go to the account owner's numbers. Your team works from the dashboard.
